Our alcohol-free vanilla extract is made from 100% Madagascar vanilla: vanilla seeds, spent vanilla and Bourbon vanilla extracts, carried in a sugar syrup instead of alcohol. It is halal certified, and you can see the seeds in the bottle.

What’s in the bottle
Four things: Madagascar vanilla seeds, spent vanilla, Bourbon vanilla extracts and a sugar syrup. No colourings and no artificial flavouring. The vanilla comes from the same Madagascar cooperative as our pods.
The sugar syrup does the job alcohol does in a classic extract: it carries the vanilla flavour. That is also why this extract is slightly sweet.

How to use it
Use it wherever a recipe calls for vanilla extract: cakes, biscuits, custards, icing, ice cream, ganache and pastry cream. With no alcohol in it, it suits no-bake desserts, cold mixes and drinks as well as baking.
At home, start with the amount of extract your recipe gives and adjust to taste. In production, use 1–2 teaspoons per kg.
